PDX Currency is to be a local privately issued paper currency for the Portland, Oregon area.
This is a voluntary use product, anyone may participate if they choose.
Community currency is local business tool issued and operated by a non profit organization.
Local currency circulates alongside U.S. dollars, it does not replace them.
This project is not associated with the State of Oregon or the City of Portland.
Use PDXcurrency at participating local merchants. Big-box retail stores will not accept it.
Convert local currency into dollars anytime at participating local credit unions.

This project is a clone of Berkshares.org
